These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CRTR's SMS-based consultation platform ("Service"). By texting a CRTR-powered number, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

CRTR provides an AI-powered SMS consultation platform that enables independent service professionals (hair stylists, barbers, personal trainers, and similar professionals) to conduct client consultations via text message. The Service facilitates communication between service professionals and their clients using automated and human-assisted SMS messaging.

2. SMS Consent and Opt-In

By initiating a text message conversation with a CRTR-powered number, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages related to your service consultation and booking. Specifically:

You consent to receive automated AI-generated responses to your inquiries
You consent to receive follow-up messages from the service professional
You understand that message and data rates may apply
You understand that message frequency varies based on your consultation

To opt out at any time, reply STOP. To get help, reply HELP. We do not send unsolicited messages — all conversations are initiated by the end user.

3. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

Provide accurate information during your consultation
Use the Service only for lawful purposes
Not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Not use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm others

4. Service Professional Responsibilities

Service professionals using CRTR agree to:

Only use CRTR numbers for legitimate client consultations
Display proper opt-in disclosures when sharing their CRTR number
Comply with all applicable SMS marketing laws and regulations
Maintain accurate business information in the CRTR platform

5. AI-Generated Content

Responses generated by CRTR's AI are intended to assist with consultation and booking inquiries. AI responses do not constitute professional advice. Service professionals are responsible for reviewing flagged consultations and providing final recommendations to clients.

6. Limitation of Liability

CRTR is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated responses, scheduling errors, or service outcomes. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user or service professional who violates these Terms or applicable law.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
